Avishkar Sabharwal is the Founder and CEO of Satya Carbon, a specialized carbon platform focused on bringing greater transparency, discipline, and trust to the carbon market. As a physician, he brings an evidence-based mindset to carbon finance—applying clinical-style rigor, structured analysis, and risk assessment to a market often challenged by fragmentation, opacity, and inconsistent quality. At Satya Carbon, he leads the firm’s strategy to connect high-integrity project developers with institutional buyers through rigorous diligence, portfolio aggregation, and risk-managed transaction structures. His background in medicine, capital raising, and real estate investment gives him a unique ability to evaluate complex opportunities through both scientific and financial lenses. Recognizing the need for more credible, bankable carbon credit transactions, he founded Satya Carbon to help transform environmental assets into institutionally viable opportunities and to support the flow of capital to impactful climate projects.

Daniel Astle

CFO

Daniel Astle, EA, is the CFO of Satya Carbon and a finance leader with 25+ years of experience across accounting, financial planning, and business management. He spent a decade as a Senior Financial Analyst at Avitus Group, building budgets and decision-ready financial reporting across multiple standalone business lines and helping support the company’s growth into one of the largest PEOs in the U.S. An operator as well as an analyst, Dan also owned and ran a printing and marketing company for more than 10 years and has served as a fractional CFO for operating businesses, bringing practical cash-flow discipline, forecasting, and KPI-driven execution as Satya Carbon scales.

Fernando Mascarenhas

COO

Fernando Mascarenhas is an Operations & Turnaround Specialist and Fractional COO with 20+ years of experience leading operational and financial overhauls across sectors, including real estate, renewable energy, e-commerce, technology, and family offices. He has served as project leader or co-advisor on initiatives with nearly US$300MM in combined CAPEX, including the operational and financial implementation of a 108-MW wind farm, large-scale PPP-related infrastructure work, cross-border market entry for an e-commerce company, and enterprise-wide ops/finance transformations for technology businesses. Prior to his advisory work, Fernando held senior roles in structured finance and project finance, leading teams on PPPs, valuations, financial modeling, and debt/equity solutions. At Satya Carbon, he brings this blend of execution rigor and finance discipline to strengthen the operating model, improve KPI-driven performance, and support scalable growth.

Stefan Mikael Motelica-Heino, PhD.

Dr. Motelica- Heino is a Professor of Environmental Geochemistry at the University of Orléans and a researcher at ISTO, CNRS–University of Orléans–BRGM. A PhD-trained environmental scientist and former Lancaster University research associate and BRGM scientist, he focuses on environmental biogeochemistry, trace-element mineralogy, anthropogenic ecosystems, and ecological restoration. He has authored 140+ peer-reviewed publications and mentored numerous doctoral, postdoctoral, and master’s researchers. He has over 20 years of experience in soil and water contamination, trace element dynamics, and environmental risk assessment.

Rishu Agarwal, PhD.

Dr. Agarwal is an Environmental Scientist with an extensive background in atmospheric science and practical experience in carbon markets. She is passionate about using science to improve the quality and credibility of carbon markets. Her work includes validating and verifying Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and industrial carbon projects in the United States. She conducts technical reviews, field assessments, project documentation analysis, greenhouse gas accounting, and regulatory compliance assessments. She evaluates projects using a strict, evidence-based approach that promotes transparency and informed decision-making.

Majid Hussain, PhD.

Dr. Hussain is an Assistant Professor at the University of Haripur (Pakistan) with 15 years of extensive experience conducting LCA-based sustainability evaluations across multiple industries—including textiles, rubber recycling, aviation, power generation, desalination plants, construction, and consumer electronics.

Marine Iriart

Marine Iriart is an Engineer (M.Sc.) with 13+ years of experience in the energy industry and environmental consulting. She is currently leading the first province-wide GHG inventory and decarbonization roadmap for Córdoba, Argentina. She is also a contributor to the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Technical Working Group, providing global guidance on market-based accounting approaches.

Swathi Gudivada

Swathi Gudivada holds an MSc in Environmental Science, focused on biomaterials and bioenergy, from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, and a BEng in Biotechnology from PES Institute of Technology. She is a sustainability consultant and carbon strategist with 6+ years of experience supporting climate strategy, carbon accounting, and life cycle-based decision-making. Her work spans Scope 1–3 GHG inventories, product carbon footprints, LCAs, MRV and carbon-credit frameworks, CBAM emissions analysis, and audit-ready sustainability reporting. She has worked with VITO, Fraunhofer ISE, DLR, and Freiburg University, bringing rigorous, standards-aligned analysis to climate-focused projects, including Power-to-X, sustainable fuels, biochar removals, and industrial systems.

Wika G Wulandari

Wika G. Wulandari is a University of Auckland–trained environmental scientist (MS) and forestry and blue-carbon consultant specializing in MRV, carbon stock assessment, methodology support, and project planning and registration. With experience across Verra, Gold Standard, SRN, Social Carbon, and UNFCCC, she supports high-integrity climate finance and restoration initiatives, connecting technical carbon accounting with practical nature-based solutions for emissions mitigation, ecological restoration, sustainable livelihoods, and international stakeholder engagement.

Niavo Landihajaina Ratsimbazafy

Niavo Landihajaina Ratsimbazafy is an Environmental and Agricultural Engineer whose technical education underpins 8+ years of experience in sustainability certification, food safety standards, quality assurance, carbon footprinting, and carbon credit project development. She has worked with ECOCERT and SOCIALCARBON Foundation and currently serves as a senior sustainability consultant for DT Master Carbon France, VERACITY, ECO-SOLUTISE Ltd, FG Capital Advisors, and Pash Global. Jordan Flagel

Jordan Flagel is an Environmental Policy Specialist with more than 10 years of experience working for NGOs and non-profits in sustainable development and conservation. He holds a BA in Environmental Geography, Msc. in Sustainable Environmental Resources Management, and MSc. in Integrated Science and Technology. He is currently working on a PhD in Environmental Policy and Ecology. He is a former Fellow with the Energy Futures Lab and founded Treebridge Conservation. He has worked extensively in the field, including with the Iwokama Center for Conservation in Guyana, Ecology Project International in Belize, and BlueMX in Mexico.
